National Delegate Conference 2024

The 2024 National Delegate Conference is taking place in Brighton. We’ll be posting updates throughout the week of some of our highlights!

Day 4 – Friday 21 June

Thank you!

As conference draws to a close, we want to say a huge thank you. Thank you to everyone who made it happen, the guest speakers and, of course, the delegates, both from our region and further afield, who bring the week to life. It wouldn’t work without you!

Right, shall we do something similar next year?

More strike solidarity!

We thought it’d be worth including a couple more images of conference coming together in a show of solidarity for all UNISON workers who’ve been on strike in the past 12 months.

Women’s Leadership in Brighton!

Some of the participants in our Women’s Leadership Programme have met up at conference – we love to see it!

Strike solidarity!

What a moment! Conference has come together to applaud all UNISON members who’ve taken strike action in the past 12 months. We’ve had plenty in our region in that period, so thank you to everyone for the support!

Feargal friends

A number of our delegates from Yorkshire and Humberside met guest speaker Feargal Sharkey earlier in the week.

News update

A UNISON survey has found weapons and drug use are widespread among students on college premises. Staff describe routinely finding weapons such as knives and guns – real and fake – as well as machetes and hammers. Read it here.
